PURPOSE:To clean only an always opposed area where an original platen is always superposed on a machine main body as for an image forming device where the moving range of the original platen is limited so that an apeture part for exposure may not be exposed. CONSTITUTION:When a lever member operating lever part 31a is pushed down, an oscillating link member 27 is oscillated by linking with pushing down of the part 31a, and a wiping and cleaning roller 28 abuts on the lower surface of the glass plate (original placing transparent plate) 12 of the original platen 11 through the apeture part 22 provided on the upper surface of the machine main body 1. By moving the original platen 11 in such a state, the lower surface of the glass plate is wiped and cleaned, and further when the original platen 11 moves over the always opposed area (r), a projecting piece 36 is guided to be lowered by the downward inclined surface 23a of the notched part 23 of a transparent plate attaching frame 13, and the roller 28 is forcibly separated from the lower surface of the glass plate 12. Thus, the staining of the glass surface 12 other than the always opposed area of the original platen 11 is prevented from being transferred to the roller 28. |
