Electrode for measurement of ion concentration in solutions - ion-sensitive electrode consists of sensitive membrane covering inner electrode made up of number of two- or three-dimensional metal wire elements
摘要
An ion-selective electrode has an ion-sensitive membrane (3) and an inner electrode (4) with an electrical connection (5). The novel feature is that the inner electrode is made up of a number of two- or three-dimensional metallic wire elements. Also claimed is a measuring cell (1) with a duct (2) for a test solution and an electrode of the above type. USE/ADVANTAGE - For measuring the quantity of ions which are present in a test solution. Good adherence between the electrode and the membrane is provided, even in the case of membranes having a complicated shape, without reducing the effective contact surface area between the electrode and the membrane.
