A flat radiator consists of two hollow steel or aluminium boxes. There is one chamber for feed and one chamber for return. The feed chamber is filled with pressed aluminium or steel wool or similar. The return chamber has internal horizontal lamelles, to throttle flow speed. The feed chamber is larger by 2/3 than the return chamber. The feed chamber may be filled with copper or industrial silver. Both chambers are connected to a tube. The tube contains a perforated disc. This permits its own heating circuit and a basic temperature adjustment. USE/ADVANTAGE - For domestic dwellings, with tiled floors. Easy installation and removal, energy savings of approx. 20- 30%.
