AUTOMATIC TUNING METHOD FOR TV RECEIVER

The tuner which is connected to an antenna selects broadcasting signal and a intermediate frequency amplifier amplifies the tuned signal. A synchronization detector extracts sync signal out of the output of the video signal amplifier. A microcomputer tunes video signal according to the presence of tuning data before power off and on-time value of the sync detector and increases the tuning control values when the sync signal is not detected.
