In the syringe, all the liq.-contacting regions of the syringe are in the form of a one-piece or multipart module of low material mass and, after use, are removed for recycling, the outer syringe module being reusable without cleaning by repeated exchange of this inner module. Pref., the syringe elements consist of only one material (generally a thermoplastics) or consist of a material or material combination which is compatible with complete recycling or high yield recovery or which is safely and completely separable by simple process techniques. ADVANTAGE - The inner module can be rapidly and directly exchanged by hand to allow reuse of the rest of the syringe without cleaning.
