The two discs (2) are connected by a joining rim (6) which runs undulating in vertical section between the brake cylinder and the two discs. The rim is connected alternately to one and the other disc by its undulations. The joining rim has the same thickness in the transition area between the two discs as it has in the connecting area with the two discs. The undulations of the rim are pref. flattened out on the plane of the discs to produce sufficiently long joining sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved heat flow from both discs in a vehicle disc brake assembly into the brake cylinder without impairing ventilation.
