In manufacture the forged blades (1) are welded to the central pivot consisting of the pivot pieces (2). The pivot pieces and the finger rings are produced by powder metallurgy. The finger rings have a ribbed hole (3a) into which is pressed a corresponding spigot (2a) of the pivot piece to complete the assembly. ADVANTAGE - Simple, low-cost production method enabling marker requirement for variety to be satisfied with minimum stock.
