摘要 An electronic radiation dosimeter consisting of EPROM storage cells (1) connected by address (5) and data (6) bases to a microelectronic control circuit (2). A photovoltaic cell (4) provides power to the circuitry, memory (EPROM) (1) and display unit (3). There is a programmable charging connector (7), to the storage cells (1) from the control circuit (2). The micro-electronic control circuit (2) is of the micro-processor type. After exposure to radiation the microprocessor 'reads' the data from the EPROM memory and determines a binary number that corresponds to the radiation dose. USE/ADVANTAGE - The dosimeter is intended for personnel or machinery dosimetry and protection. The unit is relatively cheap and easily hand held. Most favourably is can be connected on one build unit, by use of integrated electronics.
