摘要 A sensor arrangement relating to the movement of heavy masses is claimed and is concerned especially with the movement of a component extractor arm for an injection moulding machine. The arm (2) moves along a horizontal (X-axis) and carries equipment for removing products (7) ejected from a tool (8). The heavy arm (2) is moved by a first drive unit (3) into a first position and a second drive unit, e.g. ejector pins (9) moving a second object e.g. a moulded component (7) moves towards the stationary heavy arm (2) and applies a load to it. Load reduction between the stationary high mass arm (2) and the second object (7) moving towards it is achieved by disconnecting part (12) of the total arm mass moved by the first drive unit (3). When the second object (7) is moved towards the disconnected arm mass (12) the latter (12) moves in guides (14) in the same direction as the object (7). A sensor between the disconnected mass (12) and the remaining arm mass (13) registers movement of the disconnected mass (12) when contacted by the ejected component (7). A signal is sent to the first drive unit (3) which moves the remaining mass (13) of the arm in the same direction as the ejected component. USE/ADVANTAGE - In connection with injection moulding machine ejection and component extraction systems. Reduces the forces applied to mouldings during extraction from the tool.
