The invention concerns an alarm lock having a mechanical and a non-mechanical locking loop plus an electronic control unit with a power supply and an alarm generator which sounds an alarm at least when the non-mechanical locking loop is interrupted. The aim of the invention is to provide an alarm lock whose non-mechanical locking element cannot be put out of action by simple techniques. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the mechanical and non-mechanical locking loops are designed as non-identical elements (2, 1) which are discrete from each other.
