A set of Z-folding envelopes consisting of a web has adhesive on the front and back surfaces arranged such that when the set is stored in a roll the areas of adhesive of the front surface of one turn are prevented from coming to adhere to the areas of adhesive of the back surface of an adjacent turn. The transverse lines of adhesion (60, 61, 70, 71) are formed of spots (62, 63; 72, 73), and all the areas of adhesive (57 to 59, 62, 63) of the front surface are contained in first longitudinal zones (65, 69) and all those of the back surface (66 to 68, 72, 73) are contained in second longitudinal zones (69, 74) separate from those of the front surface. <IMAGE> |
