PURPOSE:To increase decomposing ability of a decomposing agent for ozone at low temp. and high temp. by preparing the agent incorporating peroxides such as barium peroxide, calcium peroxide, zinc peroxide, sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate, etc. CONSTITUTION:The ozone decomposing agent is prepared by making a carrier carry peroxide selected from barium peroxide, calcium peroxide, zinc peroxide, sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate, etc. As a carrier a porous carrier is preferable, for example, silica, alumina, silica-alumina, silica-magnesia, natural zeolite, and synthetic zeolite. The proportion of carrier in the decomposing agent is preferably 1-99wt.%. The obtd. agent can be used in a wide temp. range about from -10 deg.C to 150 deg.C. |
