Device for securing or removing a load unit (13) to or from a load carrying vehicle comprises the following parts: (i) a support unit (1) with coupling bodies (7-9) for joining to other coupling bodies (10-12) on the load unit; mounted on (ii) a unit (25) which is movable along the chassis. Two of the support unit coupling bodies (7,8) are located on either side of the longitudinal central axis of the vehicle, whilst a third body (9) can be moved from its position on an imaginary line between the two bodies. At least one of these bodies co-operates with at one or more of the coupling bodies on the load unit. |
