The power amplifier of push-pull type with two transistors includes a matching transformer respectively at the input (TE) and at the output (TS) of the amplifier. It further includes a double-wound feedback transformer, linked respectively to the input (TCRE) and to the output (TCRS) of each of the transistors (11 and 12), such that the drain (16 and 17) of each transistor (11 and 12) is coupled to its respective gate (13 and 14) by the input feedback transformer (TE) to which it is linked and such that the gate (13 and 14) of each transistor (11 and 12) is coupled to its drain (16 and 17) by the output feedback transformer (TCRS) to which it is linked, the sources (9 and 10) of the two transistors (11 and 12) are linked to the earth potential (M) of the power supply of the amplifier, the gates (13 and 14) are linked respectively to one end of the secondary rewinding (15) of the input matching transformer (TE), and the drains (16 and 17) are linked respectively to one end of the primary winding (18) of the output transformer (TS).
