<p>PURPOSE:To control a fermentation odor emitted during the digestive treatment of highly concentrated organic material by preventing the elution of lignin, a phenolic polymer, and using activated carbon or charcoal as a bacteria carrier. CONSTITUTION:A fermentation tank 1 equipped with a vent 5a and a stirrer 4 is filled with active carbon or charcoal as a carrier of bacteria. A mixture of organic material supplied and the carrier in the tank 1 is fed with air continuously from the vent 5a under stirring, so that the organic material is decomposed by fermentation at high temperatures in an aerobic condition.</p> |
