PURPOSE:To obtain a new DNA useful in production of new peptide having motilin capable of making peristaltic movement of intestines active. CONSTITUTION:A DNA coding a new peptide having an amino acid sequence of formula I. This DNA is obtained by chemically synthesizing DNA of formula II to formula V by a solid phase synthesis method, etc., and binding double- stranded DNA fragments formed from DNA of formula II and formula III and DNA of formula IV and formula V with a ligase to create double-stranded DNA fragment of formula IV. |
