PURPOSE:To obtain a base film having a smoothness short of occurrence of a recording defect, easy-lubricating properties, and an adhesion to a magnetic layer by laminating a polyester resin composition prepared by compounding inactive particles in a water-insoluble polyester copolymer on one surface of the film. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin composition prepared by compounding inactive particles (B) in a water-insoluble polyester copolymer (A) on one surface of a film in a (A)/(B) ratio of 100000/50-50000, where (A) is composed of a mixed dicarboxylic acid component containing 0.5-15mol% sulfonic metal base- containing dicarboxylic acid par all the dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component. The laminate surface meets formulas I, II. In the formulas, SRz, SDELTAa, Slambda a respectively represent a ten point average roughness (mum) in a three-dementional surface roughness mesurement, an average ingredient, and an average wavelength (mum), and PC is the number of projections in an area of 0.12mm<2>. |
