PURPOSE:To remove burrs at weld part easily and rapidly by making in contact the top cured section of a sander belt rotated in longitudinal direction of a metallic wire rod with the weld part while the weld part of the metallic wire rod is rotated in circumferential direction of the wire rod at a specified position. CONSTITUTION:Burrs at the weld part of a metallic wire rod such as steel cord, etc., faced to the opening 21 of a deburring device 1 are positioned on a fixed table 2 along a guide groove 22, and fixed by a fixing tool 4. In this case, the metallic wire rod is fixed so that it can be rotated freely in circumferential direction and not be disengaged from the groove 22. Then a sander belt 3 is rotated in longitudinal direction of the metallic wire rod while the wire rod is rotated in circumferential direction to make the sander belt 3 in contact with the weld part of the metallic wire rod. Thus burrs at the weld part can be removed by sanding while the wire rod is rotated by one turn. |
