<p>PURPOSE:To stop a plurality of bins exactly to their initial positions, when each bin, in which recording papers are delivered by a sorter, is shifted so as to fasten the recording papers with a stapling device and, after that, the bin is returned to its initial position. CONSTITUTION:In a sorter, in which a plurality of bins 51a and 51b are disposed in a vertical array and, at the same time, fastening operation is performed by a stapling device at the sides of the bins 51a and 51b, a plurality of the bins 51a and 51b are made to be moved nearly perpendicular to the direction of the delivery of respective recording papers to a sorter 10 main body. Further, the sorter concerned consists of front end guide members and back end guide members, which are provided near the front ends and back ends of the bins 51a and 51b, a shifting means, with which the bins 51a and 51b are shifted towards the stapling device, a spring means, with which the shifted bins are returned to their initial positions, and a stopping means, with which one end of end of a plurality of the bins 51a and 51b returned with the spring means is stopped at a certain place.</p> |
