PURPOSE:To provide a compact and inexpensive rice cooker which is of an induction-heating type dispensing with adjustment. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage of a source voltage level converter 16 and the measured data of the voltage of the AC source 1 by the AD converter 17 for the source voltage is decreased in proportion to the voltage drop of the AC source I, much electric current is supplied from the AC source 1 lest the measured data of Vce voltage of the switching element 7 by the AD converter 14 for Vce do not decrease. The source current supplied from the AC source 1 is made constant by decreasing the preset Vce of the switching element 7 in proportion to the voltage drop of the AC source 1 by a controller 8 lest that this current increases.
