ON-LINE SHEETER OF PRINTING DEVICE AND CUTTING LENGTH CHANGING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a sheeter capable of accurately cutting running paper subjected to printing in a gravure rotary press, a form rotary press, or the like and discharged therefrom in an on-line system and capable of arbitrarily conducting a cutting length change consequent on the change of a printing plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A drum roller 54 having a diameter equal to a plate cylinder 22 of a printing device 18 or larger by an amount for applying a tension is replaceably provided in a paper guide path leading running printing paper 36 into a cutting part 44 provided with a flying knife and the like. While this drum roller is rotated in synchronism with the plate cylinder 22 by the drive shaft of the plate cylinder 22, the running printing paper 36 wound thereon is fed to the cutting part 44. When the plate cylinder 22 is replaced, the drum roller 54 is also replaced for new one which has a diameter equal to a replaced plate cylinder 22 or larger by an amount for applying a tension.
