<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a composition consisting of a coloring material, water and a specific compound, capable of exhibiting preferable viscosity without causing aggregation and excellent in stability with the lapse of time and useful for ball point pen, etc. CONSTITUTION:The composition consists of (A) a colorant such as direct dye, (B) water and (C) a compound expressed by formula I [R1 is H or CH3; R2 is 10-30C alkyl; M is H, Na, Li, amines or ammonium; its recurring units consists of 40-98wt.% recurring unit of formula II and 2-60wt.% recurring unit of formula III]]and/or its salt and has 50-2000cPs ink viscosity (at 25 deg.C).</p> |
