PURPOSE: To improve the signalling effect of brake operation by a method wherein a means by which a flash effect which calls attention of the follower of a braking vehicle effectively by successive intermittent power feed can be obtained is incorporated in the power feeding circuit of the brake lights of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An oscillation circuit 3 is provided between a plurality of brake lights 1 and a corresponding switch 2 activated by a brake pedal. While the brake pedal is activated, the brake lights 1 are intermittently operated to improve the signalling effect of the brake lights 1.
