PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording body having superior light resistance which induces fading of recorded images and yellowing of the texture considerably little even when exposed to light. CONSTITUTION:In the heat-sensitive recording body, a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a developer, and a protecting layer are sequentially provided on a supporting body. The heat- sensitive recording layer is formed of a coating liquid to show the haze of not larger than 30 when it is applied 3g/m<2> onto a transparent 50mum thick PET film. Moreover, microcapcules enclosing an ultraviolet, absorbent which are subtantially not capable of developing colors are added into the protecting layer. |
