PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE STARTING MATERIAL FOR CERAMICS

PURPOSE:To easily produce a uniform composite starting material for ceramics at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:Two or more kinds of powdery or whisker-shaped starting materials for ceramics mixed and dispersed in a liq. medium are flocculated and precipitated in combination with aluminum hydroxide formed by bringing an aluminum salt and alkali into a reaction in the liq. medium and the resulting preciptiate is recovered.
