<p>PURPOSE:To obviate the need for a cable between a controller and a sensor, enhance the maintenance performance and keep the appearance of the sensor- installed area nicely. CONSTITUTION:User detection sensors 3 and 4 are mounted to an upper part wall surface of urinals 1 and 2 in a urinal chamber. A detection signal transmitted from the sensors 3 and 4 drives a solenoid flush valve 5 while a controller (control panel) 6 outputs microwaves, discharging clean water in an automatic mode. The output microwaves are used as a power source of the sensors 3 and 4. On the other hand, the direction signal from the sensors 3 and 4 is output in the shape of radio waves and received by the control panel 6. This construction makes it possible to eliminate the need for a cable between the sensors 3 and 4 and the control panel 6 and enhance the maintenance performance of the sensors and keep a good opperance of the installation area.</p> |
