<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic type water heater which is good in thermal efficiency, safe in handling, and not harmful to the environment. CONSTITUTION:An electric water heater 10 is formed substantially in a rectangular parallelepiped, equipped in the lower part with an electromagnetic unit 1 which contains an induction heating coil 3, and provided above the electromagnetic unit 1 with a tank 2 as an object for heating. The tank 2 is designed to contain water to be heated, made of stainless steel or the like, fitted with a pipe 5 for taking in water and a pipe 6 for discharging water; the tank 2 is heated by electromagnetic induction of the electromagnetic unit 1 and at the bottom part 4 which is contact with the electromagnetic sit 1. Inside the tank 2 radiating fins 7 are fixed integrally to the tank 2.</p> |
