MUTANT YEAST CAPABLE OF SECRETING HUMAN SERUM ALBUMIN AT HIGH EXPRESSION RATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject mutant capable of producing human serum albumin on an industrial scale at a low cost by culturing a specific transformed yeast after mutagenic treatment and detecting the human serum albumin secreted from the cell. CONSTITUTION:A transformed yeast containing a structural gene of human serum albumin inserted in the HIS-4 gene site of chromosome is subjected to mutagenic treatment such as X-ray irradiation. The treated yeast cell is cultured and the objective mutant strain is obtained by detecting human serum albumin secreted from the cell. The mutant is further treated to obtain a mutant strain having further improved secretion expression capability.
