PURPOSE:To provide the fiber product having perfume-encapsuled microcapsules strongly and massively bonded thereto and relatively constantly releasing a moderate perfume over a long period by the breakage of a moderate amount of the microcapsules during the use of the fiber product. CONSTITUTION:The method for sticking a perfume to a fiber product has a process for subjecting the fiber product to a cationizing treatment using a nitrogen cationic compound-containing liquid and a process for subjecting the cationized fiber product to a capsule-bonding treatment using a capsule-dispersed liquid in order to bond the perfume-encapsuled microcapsules to the fiber product, the microcapsules being produced by encapsuling at least the perfume in capsules comprising a polymeric compound.
