PURPOSE:To enlarge both an opacifying temperature range and a clarifying temperature range and to secure the stable recording and erasing state, by using and dispersing at least one kind of each of specific higher halogenated alkyls and aliphatic saturated dicarboxylic acids in a base material of a polymer resin. CONSTITUTION:This reversible heat-sensitive recording material has a reflecting layer 2, a recording material layer 3, a protecting layer 4 and a printing layer 5 for forming a visible record indicating window 6 sequentially laminated on the surface of a base sheet 1 of a synthetic resin. Similarly, a magnetic recording layer 7 and a protecting layer 8 are also laminated on the rear face of the base sheet 1 of the recording material. In this case, A) at least one kind of 15C or more higher halogenated alkyls and B) at least one kind of 12C or more aliphatic saturated dicarboxylic acids are both used and dispersed in a base material of the polymer resin. Accordingly, when the material is cooled from a predetermined first temperature to normal temperatures, it is turned to be opaque. When the material is cooled from a predetermined second temperature higher than the first temperature to normal temperatures, the recording material is changed into the transparent state. That is, the recording material is reversibly changed. |
