PURPOSE:To provide a rotational resistance adjusting mechanism by installing a cylindrical body on a parallel arbor so as to impart a rotational resistance to the arbor, attaching a portion of the engaging gear to a part of the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body free of adjustment, and connecting the tip part of a turning arm of one cylindrical body to a device. CONSTITUTION:If a cylindrical body 1 is rotated in an arrow X1 direction, this cylindrical body 1 receives the force of rotational resistance of viscous material 7 when it rotates on an arbor 4, and a turning arm 13 as one body with this is also turned in an arrow X2 direction, but when the cylindrical body 1 is turned as far as an angle alpha1, a partial gear 10 on the outer circumferential surface is meshed with a partial gear 11 of the outer circumferential surface of another cylindrical body 2, and the cylindrical body 1 receives the rotational resistance force also from this cylindrical body 2 as it rotates on an arbor 5 against the rotational resistance force due to viscous material 8. Likewise when the cylindrical body 2 is rotated as far as an angle alpha2, the gear 11 is meshed with a partial gear on the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical body 3, therefore it receives the rotational resistance force from this cylindrical body 3 as well. Consequently, the cylindrical body 1 receives the rotational resistance force from both these cylindrical bodies 2 and 3, whereby a turning speed of the turning arm 13 is decreased stepwise. |
