<p>PURPOSE:To detect generation of pores due to corrosion of an inner tube of a double tube type sea-water introduction tube in which a bare steel tube is used as the inner tube so as to mix iron ions having an effect of corrosion prevention of a heat transfer tube made of copper alloy of a sea-water heat exchanger with cooling sea-water. CONSTITUTION:A double tube type sea-water introduction tube 6 has an inner tube 1 made of a bare steel tube, and an outer tube 2 treated with corrosion prevention of rubber lining 3 inside in combination with an outside of the tube 1, and comprises a salinity sensor 11 mounted between the tubes 1 and 2. Thus, when pores are opened at the tube 1, the sea water leaked from them is sensed by the sensor 11, transmitted to a salinometer 12, thereby detecting corrosion of the tube 1 at an initial stage.</p> |
