<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a fixing method without deformation of a hose by holding the flange of a collar by the end of a nut screwed onto a joint body, overlapping a part of the collar on the hose mounting part by the screwing of the nut, and fixing the hose pressingly to the hose mounting part. CONSTITUTION:A joint body 2 is formed integrally with a connecting part 2a, screw part 2b, and hose connecting part 2c, tapered surfaces 2d and 2e inclined in the direction of hose insertion are provided on the outer periphery of the hose connecting part 2c, and the end of a hose 3 is mounted on the outer periphery of it by insertion. Also a collar 4 with a flange 4a is mounted on the end outer periphery of the hose 3 by insertion. Then the end 5b of a nut 5 screwed onto the screw 2b is engaged with the flange 4a of the collar 4 and also engaged and held by a snapring 6, and the nut 5 is tightened to fix the hose 3 pressingly through the collar 4. Thus, when the internal pressure of the hose 3 is built up, the expansion deformation of the hose 3 can be suppressed by the collar 4.</p> |
