The basket (5) support rails (3) run on rollers (4) in guide channels (2), within the cabinet (1), and are supported (15,16) by arms (9,10) pivoting at fixed points (13,14). The arm (9) pivoting at the rear (13) connects with the channel near the front (15), and vice versa, so that the two arms cross. At the intersection (11), the linkage is connected to a vertical worm gear. With the basket fully withdrawn, a motor drives the worm gear so as to raise the linkage intersection point (11), and with it, by rotation of the arms, the guide channel and rails, till the basket bottom is nearly level with the cabinet top. After unloading and reloading, the motor is reversed and lowers the basket for the next wash cycle. ADVANTAGE - Loading and unloading undertaken without stooping.
