Waterproof non-toxic glue based of phenol-formaldehyde resin, optionally modified with urea, characterized in that it contains 10-50 parts by weight of phenol-formaldehyde resin, optionally modified with urea in a water solution whose concentration ranges from 10 to 45% by weight and 50-90 parts by weight of dihydroxypropyl ether of starch in a water solution whose concentration ranges from 3 to 15% by weight, and possibly 0-3 parts by weight of silicone emulsion and 0-5 parts by weight of a biostatic agent.
