PURPOSE:To prevent the accident by sensitively detecting the fact that a person or an object is present in the area wherein the car passes through due to the course difference between both inside wheels when the car turns to the left or right, by means of a photoelectric device. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray projector is installed on the body side of the car so that the course of light beam includes the area wherein the car body and rear- wheel enter due to the inside wheel difference. Also the light receiver is mounted on the same side of the car body, when a person or an object enters the said produced by the inside wheel difference, the infrared ray from the projector is reflected from the person or object, a part of the light beam is detected by the light receiver. The light receiver feeds only the infrared rays reflected from the person or object to the photoelectric converting element through the infrared ray filter, the output of the photoelectric device is taken as an electric energy to drive a buzzer and a warning lamp. |
