The input circuit of the receiver is frequency-selective with high quality. A subsequent prepn. circuit is assigned to the input circuit which removes the after-oscillations produced by the frequency selectivity. The sensitivity of the receiver is adapted to the ambient light level by a comparator circuit. ADVANTAGE - Sensitivity automatically adjusted to incident ambient light.
