The lock incorporates a bolt and a set of tumblers. A number of passages are formed in the bolt and tumblers to accommodate the respective tongues on the key. The passage (2c) in the bolt (2) extends between a gap (8) in one of the lengthwise edges to a weakened bending point (9) at the other edge. The rear corner (2c) of the latter can be chamfered. USE/ADVANTAGE - Any attempt at forcing the lock by a tool inserted in the keyhole will merely bend the bolt, making opening impossible.
