<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for improving the sound insulation properties of walls, floors and ceilings. The method is characterised by placing a compressible material (4) between the frame (2, 3) of the wall and the lining (5) which is placed onto the wall frame (3). The compressible material (4) as well as filling cavities (6) between the wall studs (2, 3) is compressed between the lining (5) and the wall frame (2, 3).</p> |
