摘要 1. Method of testing torsional vibration dampers in particular small viscotic dampers for internal combustion engines consisting in forcing torsional vibrations of an inertia system including the tested damper with the use of periodic impulses falling into the scope of the resonance frequency of the system and in measuring the responses to the said enforcement by means of measuring the resonance frequency of the torsional vibrations and their amplitude or consisting in forcing torsional vibrations of an inertia system including the tested damper with the use of single impulses and in measuring the responses to consecutive enforcements by means of measuring the free vibration, preferably of the damper housing, and in comparing the obtained results with the model ones, characterized in that the tested damper or the tested dampers are arranged in a room with uniform temperature not lower than 12 degrees C in an identical position for all the dampers, which position is determined in relation to the direction of the gravity force, in which position the damping ring (5) moves towards the second internal wall of the housing or rests on the same first internal wall of the damper housing (3) in all dampers, and next the dampers are kept in this environment and in this position for a period of minimum 10 hours of storage, and next the damper or dampers, before they are subject to enforcement, are turned in the vertical plane by an angle measured in this plane and identical for all the dampers, whose value falls into the scope between 110 degrees and 250 degrees, in such a way that the damping ring or rings (5) of the dampers move towards the other internal wall of the damper housing (3) or abut against the said wall, and next the damper or dampers in this new position, identical for them in relation to the direction of the gravity force, are fastened to a torsional inertia system and are subject to torsional enforcement or enforcements, whereas responses to the said enforcements are measured and the obtained results are compared with the results for model dampers.2. Apparatus for testing torsional vibration dampers in particular small viscotic dampers for internal combustion engines comprising: a body, a torsional shaft for fastening the tested damper with one end seated in the body, a source of enforcing impulses equipped with a motor and connected to the shaft by means of an arm, and a system for measuring the tested damper housing vibrations, characterized in that the torsional shaft (1) has an axis situated vertically and it is equipped on the side of its free end with a horizontal flange (4) for fastening the tested damper (2), whereas in the vicinity of its free end the torsional shaft (1) is supported with a bearing (6) seated directly or indirectly in the body (12), and between the bearing (6) and the horizontal flange (4) the torsional shaft (1) is equipped with two arms.<IMAGE>
