<p>This invention comprises a method of anticancer prophylaxis comprising chronic maintenance administration of trimethylamine oxide, analogs and derivatives thereof and precursors (collectively 'trimethylamine oxide-class compounds'), and unit dosage forms for such method. In particular embodiments, the method comprises administration of trimethylamine oxide-class compound in the range of at least about 35 mg/kg at least about every 1 to 5 days, or, alternatively, maintained blood levels of about 100 mM.</p> |
