The radiator has heat exchanger tubes (1), located in various planes (4), which are positioned behind each other in direction of travel. In each plane, the outermost exchanger tubes located at right angles to the longitudinal tube axis, are offset parallel in one direction, relative to the tubes in the previous planes. The tubes in each plane are at the same relative distances. The spaces between the tubes merge into each other continuously. The ends of the exchanger tubes open into side distribution chambers (3), and are located on a strip-like surface (6) of constant width. ADVANTAGE - Has small surface in direction at right angles to direction of wind/travel, combined with optimum cooling action even at low speeds.
