摘要 The rough workpiece (1) is measured before its entry into the error correction roller mechanism. Deviations in its geometry and/or dimensions from the circular are measured and processed into signals which are used to adjust the entry orientation of its rotation position w.r.t. its longitudinal axis. A measurement arrangement (2) before the roller mechanism detects the rough workpiece on a transport roller path. A rotation device (5) associated with the roller path varies the rotation position of the rough workpiece to produce the selected entry orientation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pref. for correcting errors in rough workpieces produced by the tube push bench method. Pipes are produce with improved tolerances without requiring machinery conversion or replacement.
