The method and the device are applicable especially in the description of the neutron characteristics of the active zone for simulation training and engineering analyses and have extended functional possibilities. By the method, the observed parameters are analyzed making use of two groups of modified equations of the neutron diffusion subjected to dimensional time factorization so that the factorized form functions have been approximated, and determination is made of the neutrons in the active zone in constant steps in time, e.g. about 0.25 sec. In this cinnection, analysis and simultation in the full neutron parameter range in the active zone condinuously in real time is proposed.
