<p>Apparatus for mounting load supporting equipment, such as a D-ring (52), on a fixed vertical or horizontal support wherein a movement preventing device (10) is used to hold an elongated strap (30) of material in position on the fixed support by preventing relative movement between superposed end portions of the elongated strap (30) and wherein, in one embodiment, a support member (50) is secured to the movement preventing device (10) and in another embodiment a support bracket (50) for supporting the load supporting equipment is held in a location against a portion of the fixed vertical or horizontal support.</p> |
