<p>An apparatus for reducing liquid flow rates includes a holding tank separator (10) having peripheral walls (12), one of the walls (12) having an inlet coupling (26) formed therein. A 3/32" (0.24 cm) thick rubber membrane (14) mounted to the one wall (12) has a circular hole (30) therein aligned with, but smaller than, the coupling (26) in the one wall (12). A plate (16) affixed to an upper portion of the one wall (12) also has a hole (32) aligned with the membrane hole (30) and the coupling (26) and serves to clamp the membrane (14) to the one wall (12). Liquid passing from the coupling (26) into the separator (10) has its flow rate reduced by passing through the hole (30) in the membrane (14).</p> |
