<p>An accessory device (10) for use with a computer mouse having a cable includes a substrate (14), a mouse pad (12) disposed upon or adjacent to substrate (14) and an elongated tower (16) having a base (18) attached to the substrate (14) and a free end (20) extending above the mouse pad surface (5). Between the base (18) and the free end (20), the tower (16) has an upwardly extending elongated spine (22) having a resilient portion and a groove (24) for gripping the cable of the mouse to the tower (16) in locking fashion. The tower (16) also has a cable guide (30) in the vicinity of the free end (20) for loosely receiving the cable therethrough.</p> |
