The running frame (3) is for a trailer. It has a series of motor-driven locking elements adjustable between locked and unlocked load securing positions. The locking elements are distributed along the running frame in such a way as to permit the transmission of force and moments about the longitudinal axis (X), the transverse axis (Y) and the vertical axis (Z).
