The equipment has a cover (1) sealing the bowl (50) and on the underside of which is a rotary cleaning head (2) directing jets against the bowl walls. The cover is adjustable for height in a frame (3) parked over the bowl, the latter being accommodated in the frame in a free space (52) below the cover. One or more jet nozzles (7,8) on the head are inclined upwards and outwards, and they are supplied with cleaning liq. by a high-pressure pump (6). The head can have a rotary nozzle arm, or two diametrally-opposite ones, or it can comprise a rotary nozzle discharging downwards onto a plate deflecting the liquid upwards and outwards.
