The connection control procedure establishes a connection between two mobile subscribers (MF1....MFn) or between a telephone subscriber and a mobile subscriber, using a stored programme module, stored configuration data and individual connection data and at least one system processor (CPU). The radio communication devices (FUe) use a radio communication system specific control programme module, for developing the connection protocol, upon evaluation via the system processor transferred directly or after a delay or further processing to the other components. ADVANTAGE - Connection protocol is matched to employed radio communication system.
